November 7, 2006 Our Lady of the Wayside Chapel, Millwood, NY
Historical Chapel on Route 100 in Millwood, just south of the equally historic Travelers Rest, and inn that has been operating for hundreds of years, so too this lovely church.

Painting Our Lady of the Wayside

Weathering and time had taken a toll on the foundation of the building. A good scraping and painting job were long overdue

Another problem that had to be addressed was the moss growing on one side of the church, which is always in shadow.

Forth Degree Knight Art Sullivan, who is a parishioner of St. Theresa parish, of which OLW is a part of, put together a committee to power-wash and then do a good paint job on the foundation and trim.  The finished job not only looks great, but all the Knights and Cornerstone Alumni men had a great time.

Summer 2006 St. Augustine Parish and Father Stephen Mosha's Life Project for Africa.
With his storage trailer full and the arrival of the container which will transport the collected goods to Tanzania, a group of Knights and parishioners gather to help load the container.

Father Stephen is always collecting medical supplies and equipment for the dispensary, as well as, furniture, clothing, computers and other office supplies and equipment, and pretty much anything else he can get to send over to his parish in Tanzania.
